【HIGHLIGHTS】 Veddriq Leonardo vs. Kiromal Katibin | Men's Rock Climbing Sport - Asian Games 2023

Two Indonesian male rock climbing athletes, Veddriq Leonardo and Kiromal Katibin, successfully advanced to the qualifying round for the 2023 Asian Games speed event. Both of them performed brilliantly in the qualifying round which was held at the Shaoxing Keqiao Yangshan Sport Climbing Center, Hangzhou, China, Tuesday (3/10/2023 ). Veddriq ranked first in the qualifying round. He successfully recorded the fastest time with 4.978 seconds on his first opportunity on route A. In the experiment on route B, Veddriq only recorded a time of 6.925 seconds. Meanwhile, another Indonesian representative, Kiromal Katibin, recorded a time of 7.315 seconds on Route A. When climbing Route B, the 23 year old athlete born in Batang, Central Java, recorded his fastest time of 5.161 seconds at the 2023 Asian Games this time.
