2023 Asian Games Highlights: Japanese and Kuwaiti runners share gold in 110 meter hurdles

Japanese and Kuwaiti athletes shared gold in the men's 110 meter hurdles event at the 2023 Asian Games. Shunya Takayama and Yaqoub Alyouha were declared joint gold after they both crossed the finish line in a photo of 13.41 seconds. For Takayama this was a leap of achievement after only getting a bronze medal at the 2018 Asian Games. Meanwhile for Alyouha this was the first medal while appearing at the Asian Games.
