Spicy vodka pasta with fried burrata
Ingredients:
Pasta:
⁃ Dolce Vita Fusilli Pasta
Pasta sauce:
⁃ 1 yellow onion, diced
⁃ 8 cloves garlic, sliced
⁃ 2 tbsp chilli flakes (to taste)
⁃ 3 tbsp Tomato Paste
⁃ 2 tbsp Chilli Flakes
⁃ 2 shots Vodka
⁃ 2 cups heavy cream
⁃ 3 knobs of butter
⁃ 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated ⁃ olive oil
⁃ salt & pepper to taste
Fried Burrata:
⁃ Delizie Vesuvianne Burrata
⁃ Flour
⁃ Egg
⁃ Panko
⁃ Italian seasoning
Instructions:
- Saute diced onions in olive oil until translucent. Add in garlic and chilli flakes and saute for another 1 min. Add in tomato paste and cook through for about 1-2 mins.
- Add in your vodka and allow the alcohol to evaporate for around 1min. Add in your heavy cream.
- Boil your pasta until al dente and add it into your spicy sauce. Finish with pasta water, parmesan cheese and butter on low heat. Mix until well incorporated and season to taste with salt & pepper
- Coat your Burrata in flour, egg and seasoned breadcrumbs and fry at around 165C for arounf 4 mins or until golden and crispy. Allow to drain on wire rack or kitchen towel.
- Plate your spicy pasta with the fried burrata on top, garnish with more parmesan cheese,
chili flakes and parsley. Serve and enjoy! ❤
