Ukraine Gets French Rocket Systems, NATO Presence Against Russia
Air raid alerts were issued across Ukraine amid warnings that Russia is preparing a new wave of missile and drone strikes. Russia-installed officials said Ukrainian forces suffered nearly 80 casualties in the Luhansk region. The UK Defense Ministry claims Russia has stopped deploying battalion tactical groups over the past 3 months in Ukraine. Ukraine has received a multiple rocket launcher system from France which has a range of around 70 km.
Meanwhile, Nato Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg has reaffirmed that the alliance will not pull back in its support for Ukraine. Stoltenberg reiterated that no country should support Russia's "illegal war", sending a clear warning to Iran. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has announced that NATO will reinforce its presence from the Black to the Baltic Sea.
