Descent - Level 7 - Mercury Core

Level: Mercury Core Difficulty: Hotshot Well here are at the core of Mercury! This is the first boss level. Originally, this game had seven levels in this shareware version which serves as the final level. At the beginning of this level, there were Class 1 Drones shooting at me, which is not very fun. I hope did not blow up Mercury. This was last Mercury of this game until this level; PTMC Spacecraft Factory on Mercury in Descent 3. This boss can teleport in each room and fires only Smart missiles. Lucky for me, I had a invulnerability and a cloaking device before I did boss fight. Surprisingly, I found this level to be easier then level 1 and level 6, it had no drillers until the boss room. The robot generators were generating medium lifters three times before I kill them. Shooting a robot near by the lava with splash damage while keeping yourself out of range. When I was child, that boss almost destroyed me while losing some of the hostages. After destroying the boss, all of the mines of the inner planets have been cleared out and the next journey is to Mars to clean out all three mines.
