But one night, he's caught by federal customs agents. The FBI offers him one last chance: if he agrees to take part in a joint Customs and FBI operation, his criminal past will be erased. The aim of the mission is to arrest Carter Verone, an Argentinean drug baron. To catch him in the act of money laundering, Brian will have to call on his skills as a street pilot. Rejecting the FBI's choice of partner, he enlists the help of an old friend, Roman Pearce, now a demolition derby driver under house arrest for crimes committed years before. They will be assisted by Monica Fuentes, Carter's "fiancée" and in fact a long-standing undercover cop, like Brian at the time of the Toretto case[1].
