HELD TWO INTERSTATE GANJA TRANSPORTERS-SEIZED 1.7 kg GANJA WORTH Rs.30,000/- On 29-10-2023, the sleuths Commissioner's Task Force, West Zone team, apprehended (02) persons by name 1) Syed Fayaz, and 2) Saroj Kumar Das. Who were in possession of Ganja, seized 1.7 kg ganja worth Rs.30000/- Details of accused:- 1. Saroj Kumar Das S/o. Anath Charan Das, age: 32 years, Occ: Private Job, R/o. H. No. 38, Narsipur, Kendujhar, Oddisa State. 2. Syed Fayaz S/o. Syed Afzal Ali, age: 29 years, Occ: Private Job, r/o H. No. 8-3- 169/726/A, H.F. Nagar, Borabanda, Hyderabad Seized Property: 1) Ganja – 1.7 KGs. Brief about the Accused The accused Saroj Kumar Das is Native of Odissa. He came to Hyderabad 5 years ago for job purpose and working as Manager in Ohris Bar in Cyber pal Building at Hi-tech City and residing at Siddiq Nagar, Hi-Tech City. The accused income is not sufficient to lead lavish life, moreover the accused is having a large family to maintain as such he informed to his friend Syed Fayaz and procuring Ganja, a Narcotic Substance from Pappu N/o. Odissa at cheaper rates and selling the same to the needy customers at higher rates at Site-I, Opp. Vijaya Theatre, Borabanda, Hyderabad. Hence, above said accused persons were apprehended and seized material was handed over to SHO, Borabanda PS for further action. The above arrests were made under the supervision of Smt Nikta Pant, Dy. Commissioner of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, Sri Md. Khaleel Pasha, Inspector of Police, West Zone Task Force Team with the assistance of SI Sri Srinivas Das, and the staff of West Zone team, Commissioner’s Task Force, Hyderabad City. Dy.
