The Best Shrimp Scampi with Garlic Crostini
Ingredients:
1 lbs Black Tiger jumbo shrimp
5 garlic cloves
2 tbs olive oil for sauté
2 tbs for sauté + 2 tbs to finish the sauce
1/2 cup white wine
1/2 lemon- juiced and zested
1/2 tsp chili flakes (I used smoked)
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Parsley
Chives
Method:
1. Pat dry shrimp and season with salt and pepper; sauté in butter and olive oil for about 1-2 mins per side and set aside
2. Crush you garlic and sauté until fragrant; add wine and simmer for a few minutes;
3. Add the shrimp back, adjust salt and pepper, add more butter and squeeze lemon; simmer for another 2 mins and finish with parsley, chives, lemon zest, chili flakes and enjoy!
