Salimbaa is a traditional musical instrument that comes from the Tinananon Manobo in the Mindanao islands of the southern Philippines.
Sala has 30 strings tuned to the chromatic scale, which means to have 2 octaves.
Is played with two small sticks (hammers).
As a picking or hitting tool.
The instrument of the sala is made from a copper bowl for metal resonance, an oak surface for a center tone, and a maple - eyed tigle with a bug-wheel.
The string is a bronze wound string, size 30 to 100.
