Rote people usually call it (Sasandu). In terms of shape, this musical instrument which is played by plucking is made from curved palm leaves, in a semi-circular shape. with a bamboo tube support attached to strings. thus producing a melodious sound. There are two types of sasando, namely the sasando gong which has 7 tone strings and 11 tone strings. Sasando violin has 30 notes, up to 32 and 36 strings. and has a resonance chamber made of wood or multiplex (box).
