Drone Attack On Russia Airbases, Ukraine Downs 60 Missiles, Putin Drives Merc Across Crimea Bridge
Russia unleashed a new barrage of missiles on Ukraine on December 5, forcing people to seek bomb shelters. The Ukrainian Air Force said 60 out of the 70 missiles launched by Russia had been intercepted. Russian-installed officials claim 10 people were killed by HIMARS in the occupied city of Alchevsk in Luhansk.
Meanwhile, a large explosion reportedly occurred at a Russian military air base in the Saratov region, nearly 600 km east of Ukraine. Initial reports claim at least two Russian Tu-95 Bear bombers were damaged in the attack on the Engels-2 airbase. Putin drove a Mercedes across the Crimea Bridge and inspected damage to the structure due to an Oct. 8 explosion.
