Darood-e-Ibrahimi

A Durood is a type of prayer and blessing that we send to Prophet Muhammed (ﷺ). In the Quran, Allah says that he and his angels sent the Darood to his Prophet (ﷺ) and orders us to send Durood to our Holy Prophet (ﷺ). Durood e Ibrahim or Darood Ibrahimi is considered the most authentic and prominent Durood Shareef recited in Salah, after Tashahhud. By reciting Durood Ibrahim, we ask Allah (SWT) to send peace and blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad and his family.
