After Japan occupied the Netherlands, the prisoners were placed in concentration camps, one of which was the concentration camp in Cideng, Jakarta - Indonesia. These prisoners were used roughly until older women, they became laborers with heavy burdens, many Dutch women were even used as prostitutes for the entertainment of the Japanese officers.
