Russia Kills 90 Ukrainian Troops In Luhansk, Putin Attacks West, “Kharkiv Residents Fleeing”
Ukraine claims Russian forces have been shelling the entire front line in the Donetsk region. Russian-installed officials in the occupied city of Donetsk allege that Ukraine shelled the city center, damaging several buildings. Ukraine has accused Russian troops of detaining two senior employees at the Zaporizhzhia power plant after a "brutal beating".
Meanwhile, Putin has said Russia is ready for talks but raised the “question of trust” following Angela Merkel’s latest remarks. Merkel recently said that the 2014 Minsk agreement was signed to "give Ukraine time" to strengthen itself. Putin responded to Merkel’s remarks saying may be Russia should have started the invasion earlier.
