Ingredients: 2 Onion 400 grams ground beef 1 table spoon finely chopped mint 1 egg yolk 1 tea spoon grated lemon peel 2 table spoon freshly crumbled white bread 1 tea spoon aleppo pepper (dried red pepper flakes, mild or spicy) salt freshly ground peppers 3 table spoon olive oil 4 skewers Substitute metal or wooden chopsticks Preparation steps: 1. Peel and finely chop Onions. 2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, shallots, mint, egg yolks, lemon zest, crumbled white bread and Aleppo pepper. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well. 3. Form mixture into about 20 small meatballs. Thread meatballs onto skewers and flatten slightly. Fry in oil, 2-3 minutes per side. (or cook on the grill, brushed with oil). 4. Serve with flatbread, if desired.
