Hyderabadi Double ka Meetha
Ingredients
Bread slices as required
Oil 1/2 cup
Sugar Syrup
Water 2 cups
Sugar 1 cup
Green cardamoms 3 to 4
Milk Mixture
Saffron 1 pinch
Khoya 1 cup
Dairy Cream 1 pack
Assembling
Fried bread cubes
Sugar syrup
Milk mixture
Dry fruits (chopped) as required
Dairy Cream as required
Silver paper as required
1 . Take bread slices and remove the edges. Cut the bread into cubes.
2 . In a pan heat oil and add bread cubes. Fry them until they are crispy and golden brown. Set aside.
3 . In a pot heat water and add sugar and green cardamoms. Cook until sugar dissolves. Set aside.
4 . In a pot heat Full Cream Milk, saffron, khoya and cook until milk reduces in quantity.
5 . Turn off the flame and add Dairy Cream. Mix it well. Set aside.
6 . In a pot add sugar syrup, bread cubes and soak them well. Now add milk mixture and cook for 1 to 2 mins.
7 . Dish them out and drizzle Dairy Cream on top.
8 . Hyderabadi Double ka Meetha. Garnish with dry fruits and silver paper.
