What is South Africa’s genocide case against Israel at the ICJ BBC Africa

The International Court of Justice is holding the first hearing of a case presented by South Africa, in which Israel is accused of committing a genocide against Palestinians in Gaza. Israel has forcefully rejected the accusation, claiming it's acting in self-defense.
