Gaza update: 4 paramedics killed after Israeli strike hits ambulance

The Palestinian Red Crescent says four paramedics have been killed in an Israeli airstrike. Israel insists it only targets Hamas, the radical Islamist group classified as a terrorist organization by several countries including Germany. In response to growing international pressure, on Monday Israel pledged that it would shift to a more targeted campaign in Gaza. But the fighting appears to be as intense as before, with no indication the Israeli government is planning to pause its campaign.
