Russia's Military Might On Show Or Putin's Failed Strategy
Russian President Putin has vowed to continue attacking Ukraine's energy infrastructure. Moscow has been battering Ukraine's power grid since Oct. 10, following a string of heavy military defeats. Kyiv and its Western allies say Putin wants Ukraine beaten into submission through strikes on civilian infrastructure. As per reports, Putin has launched $5 billion worth of long-range missiles in several strikes numbering 70-100 missiles each. Ukraine’s improved air defence capabilities are posing a greater risk to Russian bombers. Ukraine claimed to have shot down over 85 per cent of the Russian missiles in the attack.
