Ukrainian soldiers fire anti-aircraft weapons to shoot down Russian drones
Ukrainian soldiers said on Saturday (December 17) that they were ready to fight Iranian-made drones that Russia uses to target Ukrainian cities and infrastructure. Despite having no previous combat contact with “Mopeds”, as Ukrainians call Shahed-type drones, Denys, a commander of a Ukrainian air defence unit, was sure that his officers would be capable of taking them down. The delivery of Western anti-aircraft weapons to Ukraine's armed forces makes it harder for Russian pilots to fly closer to targets, Denys said.
