"Deck the Halls" or "Deck the Hall" is a traditional Christmas, yuletide, and New Year's carol. The melody is Welsh dated back to the sixteenth century, and belongs to a winter carol "Nos Galan," which is the English lyrics written by Scottish musician Thomas Oliphant, date to 1862.
