Japan's Military Upgrade Amid Russia, China & N Korea Tensions

Japan has approved a military overhaul to deal with what it calls the "biggest strategic challenge" of China and "an even more grave and imminent threat" of North Korea. Tokyo also cited Russia's war in Ukraine and cooperation with China as “a strong security concern” as it approved an unprecedented security blueprint, welcomed by ally US as a "historic and bold step".
