The tune has turned into Kiani's greatest hit till date and some say that it has even bested the fame of "Boohey Barian". The tune turned into the primary Pakistani pop melody to be referenced by the Los Angeles Times, where that's what the paper said "Janan" was what the entire nation was paying attention to. Kiani's delivering in the Pashto language was widely praised. Some Pakhtoons even began to refer to her as "Hadiqa Pathani," Kiani is credited with getting back a pattern Pakistan of embracing Pashto culture, young ladies began to wear Pashto-style dresses mirroring Kiani's looks on honorary pathway and more standard vocalists started singing in the nearby language. The tune's far and wide fame was credited to the way that it broke obstructions in Pakistani music, Kiani being a Punjabi singing a Pashto melody and interesting to Pakistani Pashto crowds, yet to crowds around the world. Kiani's "Janan" has been covered by numerous worldwide vocalists, most observably by the Chinese artist Hou Wei at the excellent South Asia Exhibition in 2014. The Chinese cover was finished as a recognition for Pakistani culture which raised the Pashto people group in Pakistan while, what many say, establishing the tune as an irreplaceable asset.
