Prince guest-starred on the popular FOX sitcom New Girl starring Zooey Deschanel.

According to Deschanel’s co-star Jake Johnson, Prince had reached out to the show about his cameo, telling Vanity Fair in 2014, “[He] said he is a big fan of Nick and Jess’s relationship, and he wants to make them stronger as a couple, or something like that, which is awesome. The fact that Prince even watches our show is unbelievable.” The episode also featured the broadcast premiere of a new song by Prince, “Fallinlove2nite.”
