Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos confirms return to Germany national team.

Toni Kroos has made the decision to return to the German national team ahead of this summer’s European Championships. The 34-year-old midfielder released a statement on Thursday confirming his intentions to come out of retirement and represent his country. Kroos said he was asked by Germany manager Julian Nagelsmann to come back to the national team set-up for March’s international break. Germany face two friendlies against France on March 23 and host the Netherlands on March 26 in Frankfurt.
