Star Striker Rasmus Højlund Sidelined with Muscle Injury.
Just as Manchester United seemed to be finding their footing in the Premier League, the Red Devils were dealt a big blow today. United announced in a statement ahead of their game against Fulham that Ramus Højlund will miss the game at home. The news of his muscle injury comes at an unfortunate time as Ramus Højlund was on a scoring spree for the Red Devils. The Danish striker had netted eight times for Man United in the last seven games.
In fact, the striker rescued his club last weekend from facing humiliation against 18th-placed Luton Town. Ramus scored two crucial goals in the 2-1 victory for United away from home. Now, Man United will be without the services of the striker for the upcoming game against Fulham. According to the club, the ex-Atalanta player picked up a muscle injury and is also facing fatigue. Luckily, Manchester United fans need not fret as the club has provided a timeline to Rasmus Højlund’s return from injury.
