2 Russian spy aircrafts tried to enter the Alaska! F-22 Raptors intercepted them!
The militaries of Russia and the United States have played cat and mouse with each other in the Bering Sea for 50 years. Things like this and more are fairly common. I heard Russia has billboards claiming Alaska belongs to them, even though we bought and paid for it in 1867 for $7.2 million. We bought it because it was too difficult for Russia to occupy. What makes Russia think they can just take it back? If they are having a hard time in Ukraine with us just sending limited weapons, what do they think would happen if they tried to invade Alaska? Wouldn't be limited weapons then. Russia wouldn't stand a chance.
