Prayers go out to you my brothers and sisters. I have always believed Russian engineering was agricultural but effective and worked very well. That was their equipment being used in the odd skirmish around the middle east and eastern Europe over the years. However when it comes to competing with American and European equipment in a full-blown battle scenario as we see in Ukraine I have to say their gear is sh*t, their training is substandard, and command infrastructure is nonexistent. In conclusion, they only fight as bullies against inferior enemies of smaller populations. Yes, they build beautiful aircraft and are top notch but the military planning is as I stated above. Don't forget their performance in ww2 was enhanced by American and British supplied equipment across the board. The T34 even had an American-designed diesel engine in it, the germans were spent and running out of supplies as their supply lines were stretched thin so of course they dominated. The Russian army may never be the same after this war. Young men may leave Russia and settle somewhere else and may not want to be rotting body on the side of the road. If I was Putin I would end this war and get a treaty with nato on nato expansion.
