The United Nations is describing food shortages in Gaza as a ‘nutrition crisis’ and part of a wider humanitarian catastrophe. Five months of Israel’s assault on the Gaza strip has resulted in mass displacement and left hundreds of thousands of Palestinians without access to food or clean water.
