Ethan Hunt, once again played by Tom Cruise, and his IMF team are tasked with finding a dangerous new weapon that could destroy the world. Facing a mysterious enemy and forces from Hunt's past, the team embarks on a global chase. Hunt is forced to make tough decisions, possibly even jeopardizing the lives of those he cares about, in order to complete the mission.
