Dosto ne Zakhm Diya Hai Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan
Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was a Pakistani musician, primarily a qawwali vocalist and one of the foremost exponents of qawwali, a devotional music of the Muslim Sufis. He was known for his powerful and emotive voice and his ability to improvise melodies and rhythms. He became widely popular in the 1980s and 1990s, and his music gained a global audience, particularly in the United States, where he performed at Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center. Khan also collaborated with a number of Western musicians, including Peter Gabriel and Eddie Vedder, and his music has been featured in numerous films and television shows. He died in 1997 at the age of 48.
