An easy and quick way to prepare lollipop cake
Ingredients:
1 box of your favorite cake mix (plus required ingredients listed on the box)
1 can of frosting
Lollipop sticks
Assorted candies and sprinkles for decorating
Instructions:
Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the cake mix box.
Prepare the cake batter according to the instructions on the box.
Grease and flour a round cake pan.
Pour the cake batter into the prepared cake pan and bake according to the instructions on the box.
Once the cake is baked and cooled, crumble it into a large mixing bowl.
Add frosting to the crumbled cake and mix until well combined. The mixture should be moist and hold its shape when pressed together.
Take small portions of the cake mixture and roll them into balls about the size of a golf ball.
Insert a lollipop stick into each cake ball, making sure it's secure.
Place the cake pops on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for about 1 hour to firm up.
Melt a small amount of chocolate or candy melts in the microwave according to the package instructions.
Dip each cake pop into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off.
Decorate the cake pops with assorted candies and sprinkles while the chocolate is still wet.
Place the decorated cake pops upright in a piece of foam or cake pop stand to set.
Once the chocolate has set, your lollipop cake pops are ready to enjoy!
