Rafflesia Arnoldi, the most unique plant in the world
Giant padma (Latin: Rafflesia arnoldii) is an obligate parasitic plant which is famous for having very large flowers, in fact it is the 1st largest flower in the world[citation needed]. The Rafflesia flower is said to be a unique flower because it is only a flower that blooms without leaves, roots and has no stem. Rafflesia has a network that is similar in function to roots, called a haustarium. Apart from that, Rafflesia grows and depends on the host in the network of Tetrastigma vines (lianas) and does not have leaves so it is unable to photosynthesize. Host plants that will help Raflessia to photosynthesize.
