‏حيوان الكسلان مهدد بالإنقراض ولا يكاد يعيش بالطبيعه إلا باعداد قليلة بسبب ردة فعله البطيئة وقد مات كثير من جنسه في حرائق استراليا بسبب عدم تمكنه من الهروب من النيران وهو وليمة سهلة للمفترسات من كل الاجناس اللاحمة Sloths are threatened with extinction, and they barely survive in nature except in small numbers due to their slow reaction. Many of their species died in the Australian fires due to their inability to escape from the flames. It is an easy feast for predators of all carnivorous species
