Mohamed Metwali Chaârawi محمد متولي الشعراوي

Muhammad Metwally Al-Shaarawi (April 15, 1911 - June 17, 1998 / Rabi’ al-Awwal 17, 1329 AH - Safar 22, 1419 AH) was a religious scholar and former Egyptian Minister of Endowments. He is considered the most famous interpreter of the meanings of the Holy Qur’an in the twentieth century. He worked on interpreting the Holy Qur’an in simplified and colloquial ways, which made him able to reach a larger segment of Muslims throughout the Arab world. Some called him the Imam of Preachers, and he was also famous for his thoughts about the Holy Qur’an. محمد متولي الشعراوي (15 أبريل 1911 - 17 يونيو 1998 / 17 ربيع الأول 1329 هـ - 22 صفر 1419 هـ) عالم دين ووزير أوقاف مصري سابق. يعد أشهر مفسري معاني القرآن الكريم في القرن العشرين؛ حيث عمل على تفسير القرآن الكريم بطرق مبسطة وعامية مما جعله يستطيع الوصول لشريحة أكبر من المسلمين في جميع أنحاء العالم العربي، لقبه البعض بإمام الدعاة ، كما اشتهر بخواطره حول القران الكريم.
