Walter and Jesse encounter difficulties in producing the large quantity of meth promised to Tuco, having opted for a methylamine formula, an essential component in production. Faced with Jesse's difficulty in obtaining it, they organize a theft from a high-security warehouse, forcing open the door with highly flammable thermite, made by recovering aluminum powder from toys (magic screens). Once the required quantity of drugs has been produced, they arrange to meet Tuco at a scrapyard for the exchange. Once there, the exchange proceeds almost normally. But Tuco, after testing the product, violently beats one of his men for no good reason, before Walt and Jesse's frightened eyes. The latter realize that they are risking their lives at any moment by associating with him. Skyler decides to bring back the tiara that Marie gave her future daughter at her baby shower party. It's a particularly expensive piece of jewelry. But Skyler discovers the hard way that the tiara has been stolen when she returns it to the supplier. This puts Marie's back to the wall regarding her kleptomania, but she refuses to admit it.
