Once back home, Walt can't leave the room without Skyler worrying and wondering where he is. What's more, she seems suspicious of him following his numerous absences and potential second phone call. Walt decides to take a break from drug production in order to regain Skyler's trust. Things go badly for Jesse: his parents kick him out of his aunt's house, having discovered the lab in the basement. Since they no longer want him in their home, he finds himself homeless, with no friends to take him in.
