Meet Fred, the unendingly confounded penguin who demands wearing a tropical shirt and flip-lemon to formal occasions, persuaded he's mixing in with the group. His closest friend is Carl, a human with the beauty of an infant giraffe on roller skates. Carl's efforts to be smooth frequently bring about him coincidentally entertaining some unacceptable individual with his karaoke version of "I Will Constantly Cherish You." Together, they explore life's idiocies, with Fred waddling certainly into misfortunes and Carl staggering right behind him, consistently prepared to help — or a shoulder to giggle on when things definitely turn out badly.
