Okay, I have researched this! Apparently this is a product that's made from pomelo. The 'meat' of the fruit is scooped out, boiled with honey, lemon, licorice, and some other ingredients, and then put back in the pomelo rind. So it is a sort of candy! Now we need to go to Taiwan and try it!
