Marital Relations and Fasting in Ramadan: An Exegesis of Surah Baqarah 2:187

And it has been made lawful for you to go to your wives during the nights of fasting, they are clothing for you and you are clothing for them. Allah saw that you were betraying yourselves, so Allah showed mercy to you. And he forgave you, so now you are your wives. And seek that which Allah has decreed for you, and eat and drink (at night) until the white stripe of the dawn becomes distinct on you from the black stripe (of the night), then fast until the night. Complete it and do not have intercourse with your wives when you are in the state of I'tikaf in the mosques. These are the limits set by Allah. . Intercourse and food in Ramadan Surah Baqarah verse 187 Interpretation: . In the beginning, intercourse with wives was forbidden during fasting nights and they could eat only before going to bed. In this verse, intercourse and food until the white streak of Fajr has been made halal, and the relationship between husband and wife has been described. The interpretation for both is the same that both of them are as important as clothing for each other in terms of mutual connection and protection.
