Leo Rojas - El Condor Pasa (Видеоклип)(720P_HD).
The old in a new way. "Flight of the Condor" (Spanish: El Cóndor Pasa) is a song from the zarzuela of the same name, written by the Peruvian composer Daniel Robles in 1913 to the tune of traditional folk melodies of the inhabitants of the Andes.
In the 1960s, the band Los Incas performed "Flight of the Condor" in Paris, where it was heard by Paul Simon, who wrote his version with new words. The song became widely known due to the release on Simon and Garfunkel's album "Bridge Over Troubled Water" in 1970 under the title "El Condor Pasa (If I Could)". Paul Simon was sure that the song was folk, but after the release of the album, Daniel Robles' son proved his father's copyright to it. Versions of the song "Flight of the Condor" are available in different languages and are present in the repertoire of various groups and performers.
