Ginkgo biloba, a tree that tells many stories

Ginkgo biloba , known as ginkgo or gingko and also known as maidenhair tree , is the only living species in the division Ginkgophyta, all other species have become extinct. This tree is known to be similar to fossils from 270 million years ago. Native to China, the ginkgo tree was widely cultivated and introduced early in human history . This tree also has various uses in traditional medicine and as a food source.
