Surah-Al-Qadr

Surah Al-Qadr is the 97th chapter of the Quran. It's a short chapter consisting of only five verses. The Surah's name, "Al-Qadr," translates to "The Power" or "The Majesty." It is named after the concept of "Qadr," which refers to destiny, decree, or divine will. The Surah primarily discusses the revelation of the Quran and the significance of the Night of Decree (Laylat al-Qadr), which is described as better than a thousand months. Muslims believe that during this night, the Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This Surah emphasizes the importance of seeking this special night during the last ten nights of Ramadan for spiritual reflection, prayer, and seeking forgiveness.
