Hidden Secrets of Taj Mahal

Did you know that the Taj Mahal, one of the most iconic landmarks in the world, holds some hidden secrets? Today, I'm going to share with you some fascinating facts about this magnificent structure. Firstly, the Taj Mahal is not just a beautiful mausoleum, but it also has a functional purpose. The four minarets surrounding the main dome are slightly tilted outwards. This is because in case of an earthquake, the minarets will fall away from the main structure and not damage it. Secondly, the Taj Mahal changes colors throughout the day. During sunrise, it appears pinkish, while during sunset it has a golden hue. This is due to the white marble reflecting different colors of sunlight throughout the day. Thirdly, there's a secret chamber within the Taj Mahal that is closed off to visitors. It's believed that this chamber contains the real tomb of Mumtaz Mahal, the wife of Emperor Shah Jahan. The public tomb is just a replica. Lastly, there's a hidden message in the calligraphy on the Taj Mahal's entrance. If you look closely, you'll notice that the lettering gets larger as it goes up. This was done intentionally to create an optical illusion and make the writing appear uniform in size from ground level.
