Footage from the dashcam in the mountainous areas of Taiwan during the earthquake on April 3rd, 2024

Hey guys, today's video is going to be a bit different. I want to share some footage with you from the devastating earthquake that hit Taiwan on April 3rd, 2024. Specifically, I have some dashcam footage from the mountainous areas of Taiwan that I think really captures the intensity of the quake. Now, before we get into it, I want to give a quick trigger warning. This footage can be quite intense and may not be suitable for all viewers. If you're sensitive to natural disasters or traumatic events, I would recommend skipping this video. Okay, with that out of the way, let's dive in. As you can see, this footage was taken from a car driving through the mountains during the earthquake. At first, everything seems relatively normal - the car is driving along a winding road with beautiful scenery in the background. But then, you start to see things shake. At first, it's just a slight tremor - enough to make you feel a bit uneasy but not too concerning. But as the seconds tick by, the shaking gets more and more intense. The car starts to bounce around on the road and you can hear rocks and debris falling in the distance. It's hard to describe just how intense this was - even watching it back now gives me chills. You can see the fear in the driver's eyes as they try to navigate through the chaos. It's a stark reminder of just how powerful nature can be and how small we are in comparison. Thankfully, the driver in this video made it through safely - but unfortunately, not everyone was so lucky. The earthquake caused significant damage throughout Taiwan and resulted in many injuries and fatalities. I wanted to share this footage with you not to scare you or sensationalize the event, but to remind us all of how important it is to be prepared for natural disasters. Whether it's earthquakes, hurricanes, or wildfires, we never know when something like this could happen.
