Malaysia has the largest roundabout in the world. Putrajaya Roundabout is the largest roundabout road in the world with a diameter of 3.5 km which is located at the main road intersection in Putrajaya and consists of several entrance and exit roads. The interesting fact is that the name Putrajaya was given by the late Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah of Selangor, the eleventh Yang di Pertuan Agong. Near the largest roundabout in the world there is a 68 meter high building known as Mercu Tanda Putrajaya.
