Honestly, I find the best way to avoid this is simple. I got a Playstation after the PSN hack, so I've always used those gift cards. Not just for PSN, but Nintendo and Steam as well, Google Play store too. Can't charge from your card if there is no card on the account! And if your card *does* suddenly show up on the account, they are in *massive* trouble for stealing the card! Say goodbye to the game systems!
