Therefore, advertising for syphilis treatment may be prohibited in accordance with drug and cosmetics laws in Malaysia. An interesting fact, every advertisement for the treatment of transmitted diseases and every advertisement for aphrodisiac drugs is an offense in Malaysia. If anyone is caught doing this they will be jailed for 3 months and fined RM 100.
