Idk man, i don't think it's wise to travel to yemen now or the last decade. My country strongly advises against going. They state kidnappings are common, violent protests are common, open carry is common and the checkpoints are manned by all kinds of political troops. Every travel inside the country is supposed to be with an ok from Yemeni internal affairs, and in the north, with the ok from the Houthi political group. Several terrorist groups are alledged to have bases in Yemen.
