Today in Israel, Ahmad said that the term ‘Palestinian’ is “perceived as a political statement, not a peoplehood.” Yet Arab citizens make up about 1/5th of Israel’s population. “We are 2 million people,” he told Blue Marble. “So many in the world don’t even know that we exist.
